Yes, it’s true, Coyotes ran through western Canada like a freight train. Was it a beautiful or stress free train? No, not even close, but they finished off their road trip sweep by polishing off Loooooooo and the Sedin twins and the rest of the Canucks last night.

Taylor Pyatt, an ex-Canuck, managed to put two in the back of the net, although one was really the work of a swift and sneaky shot from Keith Yandle. Luongo, always a classy guy and a personal favorite of mine said: “It went off (Pyatt’s) shin going to the net, so just a lucky goal by them. It’s tough to lose on a goal like that.” I watched the replay on the DVR more than once (watch it yourself on NHL.com), and I think the puck was going to get past Looooooo whether Pyatt was standing there or sitting on the bench.

I was watching Sami Lepisto tearing up and down the ice ALL night last night, he’s contributing more every game, as are a lot of the guys. So far this season I have had to eat my words, almost happily, about the play level of Jovo and Whitney. The team is really coming together, anticipating shots and backing up each other’s mistakes. Coach thinks so, as well, according to Jim Gintonio on azcentral.com.

Man it’s been fun to watch the Coyotes lately, nervewracking but fun. I almost couldn’t watch the last minute of the game last night, with Luongo pulled and the whol Canucks team buzzing around our zone like amped up bees. It wasn’t enough, luckily we have Bryz.

The Canucks were coming off a serious smackdown by the Blackhawks the night before, where the vaunted Luongo even got pulled. So, you know they were going to come after the lowly Coyotes. Oh well, better luck next time boys.

Coach Tippett has something to say about their SIX game winning streak, watch the video.
