Nebulous Verbosity

Everything here is absolutely correct. Probably.

Politics – A necessary evil

Politics in America

Many, maybe even MOST, Americans say they have no interest in politics.
After all, it’s a dirty business and we’re all busy living our lives and taking care of business.

Yet, all Americans 18 and over should VOTE, and voting responsibly means getting a little dirty understanding politics and what politicians have in mind for your future and present life.

Flaming Bigot Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson is not your average Nazi level bigot. He's currently the Lt. Governor of North Carolina gunning for the Governor job. He's also a Republican.

Russia – The MAGA Mind – S2 E7

MAGA movement people deny the influence of Russia on their leaders and have done so since those subjects of the Mueller Special Counsel investigation characterized it as a hoax. That investigation returned 37 indictments resulting in seven guilty pleas or convictions.

Dictator Worship – The MAGA Mind – S2 E6

Dictator and strongman worship is an embedded feature of the MAGA movement, spurred on by the grievance culture supported by their leader, Donald Trump.

    Next Time, Read The Directions

July 14, 2012 The City of Glendale faced two sets of petition gatherers recently, one was a petition for a referendum sponsored by Ken Jones and Joe Cobb. Faithful readers of my brain dumps are already overly familiar with that petiion. There was another, much more well funded, petition circulated to have a sales tax…

  • Too Little, Too Late, Too Mistakey

I have spent the last day recalibrating my Nostradamusmeter, somehow it’s off several clicks because I didn’t see this coming, not with these parameters at least. Ken Jones and Joe Cobb turned in their petition for referendum R-12-01 to the Glendale City Clerk yesterday, July 12. They managed to collect 1,568 signatures instead of the 1,862 required….

  • Cobb Says Voters Don’t Matter, AT ALL!

As the petition signing for the anti-Coyotes petition (yes, that’s what I’m going to call it from now on) continues, the rap of Ken Jones and Joe Cobb when soliciting signatures has morphed over time to fit their needs. The first idea they were using was along the lines of “Libraries or Coyotes”, stating that…

Is This Milk Bad? Here, Take a Whiff!

July 4, 2012 Back again today with another chapter in the so far neverending saga of conservative “think tank” Goldwater Institute doing their level best to reduce to ashes a successful sale of the Phoenix Coyotes, a team run into bankruptcy by former Goldwater board member Jerry Moyes. Mr. Moyes was completely unable to run either a…

Goldwater’s Plaintiff against Coyotes MAY Be Afoul of Federal Election Rules

I stand accused INTERNATIONALLY of being obsessed with the Coyotes and their fate in Glendale, AZ. Mea culpa, I am, as are more fans than the average person would believe. We are, hopefully, a force to be reckoned with especially now that we aren’t being distracted by another outstanding season turned in by our Coyotes….

    Jeff Flake IS Goldwater Institute

So, here we are, knee deep in yet another Goldwater Institute (GWI) lawsuit aimed squarely at the heads of the Coyotes and the City of Glendale (CoG). As of today, June 26, 2012, we are waiting for Judge Fink to document a ruling on the lawsuit brought against CoG by GWI on behalf of Joe…

Putting the “Hip” in Hypocrite Part 2

I have briefly mentioned the lack of interest Goldwater Institute had in a city funded, $100 million stadium in Mesa, built for the Chicago Cubs so they would have a nice new place for their preseason games. I speculated that, perhaps, since Rep. Jeff Flake is the congressional representative for that district and is also…

    Putting the “Hip” in Hypocrite

June 24, 2012 It’s been fun to be the “tinfoil hat conspiracy theory” guy for the past week or so. It’s easy to dismiss the Goldwater “coincidences” as nothing more than that, even in the face of simple logic. One only has to go back to the original bankruptcy filing by Goldwater board member Jerry…
